Holly J. Kroening is a native Oregonian, mother and grandmother. She and her husband Dwayne line in Oregon City. Her father, Ed Jerman, was her inspiration. Art is a matter of taste, no single flavor works for everyone.
My personal statement: you can’t ever capture the same thing twice, you just hope to capture something new.
My paintings express the joy, delight and passion I feel when I paint. “Letting it go” provides freedom and self-expression. These things come true when I paint with my grandchildren. They have managed to break down the barriers by painting green zebras and outside the lines; creating masterpieces.
I love knowing that one of my paintings reached out and touched someone.
