Call for Artists: Lasting Impressions: Print Showcase

The Gallery at Oregon Society of Artists is proud to present Lasting Impressions: Print Showcase. This show will celebrate all forms of printmaking! From monotype to lithography, woodblock, risograph, and more, this non-juried exhibition features works made through the rich and varied traditions of printmaking.

Print processes, whether rigorous and repetitive, or singular gestures, rely on the moment of impression–the instance plate touches paper. This magical moment leaves a lasting impression, creating works of art that can offer rich tonal surfaces, bold graphic qualities, and atmospheric textures. Open to any and all subject matter, Lasting Impressions aims to showcase the beauty and diversity of printmaking in all of its multitude forms.

GUIDELINES

• This is a non-juried show, open to both OSA members and non-members.

• The theme is work made through printmaking processes.

• Open to all 2-d printmaking processes (lithography, lincouts, drypoint, aquatint, woodcuts, engraving, etching, risograph, screenprint, collograph, monotype, etc.)

• The entry fee is:
OSA Members: $35 for up to 2 pieces
Non-Members: $45 for up to 2 pieces

• Artworks and photographs should be works recently made within the last year and must not have been exhibited previously in the OSA gallery.
