Cindy Latimer

I started oil painting two years ago and have since expanded into different mediums.  I also enjoy acrylic, gouache, pastels and alcohol ink.  I recently started carving and wood burning into my paintings for an interesting effect.  I have an avid interest in printmaking of all types as well. My subjects are mainly botanicals and landscapes based on my travels. I live in Oregon City with my husband, two dogs and a cat. My studio is on my property under a box elder tree - which is the origin of its name. I am a nurse in the local community and work part time so I can pursue my art interests.  My husband and I enjoy gardening, hiking, traveling, and cooking. We are passionate about our community and neighborhood.
