Call for Artists: 2023 Art and Wine in the Garden

Garland Nursery, 5470 NE Hwy 20 is inviting artists to be juried for the 2023 Art and Wine in the Garden held July 29-30, 2023. The large nursery is family owned near Corvallis. It has ample space for tents and all necessary equipment for artist booth set up. One of the employees who did it last year said sales were good. There is ample parking and clean bathrooms but no shade.

A small panel of judges will review submitted work, afterwards the selected artists will be emailed an invitation to join. Once artists are invited there is a $25 deposit by check for a 10 x 10 ft. space that will be refunded at the end of the event. Garland Nursery will receive 20% of sales by each vendor.

Rose Farm Plein Aire Event

The Rose Farm Management Committee would like to invite all visual artists to come and paint, sculpt, draw, or photograph the Rose Farm house and gardens. This is a free event for artists to participate. The gardens should be full of rose blooms and will be the perfect setting for artists to capture the beauty of the historic house and gardens.
The event takes place on July 8, 2023 from noon till 4 pm.

The Regional Arts & Culture Council Announces Round 2 of our Arts3C Grant: Please submit your application by 5pm on March 22, 2023

The Regional Arts & Culture Council (RACC) is pleased to announce the Second Round of Arts3C – Creation, Cultivation, & Community – Grants for the tri-county region of Multnomah, Washington, and Clackamas Counties. Applications are due by 5pm on March 22, 2023.  Earlier this year, RACC awarded 193 grantees in our first round of Arts3C.

This grant program is designed to be fully responsive to what artists and art makers in the community need funding to support. Funds are available for artistic output, such as projects, programming, or presentations, or internal capacity, such as operations, personal or professional development, or business investment. Applicants will select their request level ($1,000, $2,000, $3,2000, $4,000 or $5,000) and the application questions will increase with the requested amount. Applicants who are creating and sharing arts and culture programming in all disciplines are welcome to apply.

Call for Artists: Spring Fling Art Festival 2023

The deadline for applications has been extended to April 8th, 2023. The festival is now open to all local artists.

The Spring Fling is back for a third year on May 6 and May 7 at the Pioneer Community Center in Oregon City.

Times for the events will be:
Saturday, May 6, from 10 am till 4 pm and Sunday, May 7, from 10 am till 4 pm.
Set up will be on Friday, May 5 from 3 pm till 7 pm.
