TRAG Artists in the Fall Oil Medium Juried Show at the Oregon Society of Artists

Sue Thomas and Yelena Shabrova were accepted into the Oregon Society of Artists’ Fall Oil Medium Juried Show.

Sue has 2 oil paintings on panels there: “Red Rose and White” and “Red, White and Blue”. Sue previously won Best of Show at the same event 2 years ago. For these paintings Sue tried a new technique for her – palette knife with lots of white over color layers.

Yelena Shabrova has one piece in the show: oil pastel and oil-based colored pencil drawing “Lost Pond Somewhere”, 8″ x 10″. This is the first time she combined two media together,

The show is up in the gallery at Oregon Society of Artists September 7-28, with online viewing until Nov. 2. There are many beautiful paintings in this show. The gallery is open 10-4 Mon-Friday and 1-4 on Saturday.
