Summer workshop series with Heather Andrews

Are you looking for something fun and interesting to do this summer? Join us for our science/art series which will be held at the Art-O-Maddic Gallery in Canby!

We will start the series off on Wednesday July 26th at 5pm with a class on composting where we will learn all about the science behind converting table scraps into healthy soil. We will then get to make edible “compost cakes” and decorate pretty containers for holding scraps destined for the compost pile.

Our second class will take place on August 2nd at 5pm. During this session we will learn all about beneficial critters and bees in our yards. Then we will tie dye and decorate our creations with fabric butterflies.

Our final class will take place at 5pm on August 9th. We will start the class off with a lesson on birds and how we can create habitat in our yards. Then we will decorate bird houses.

Each class is $40, and if you sign up for all 3 classes you will get a free poster. For more information and to signup, please visit the Art-O-Maddic Gallery’s class page here: https://www.artomaddic.com/events
