Artist Statement
My art has always been about vibrant colors and whimsy. I have painted these hard southern gourds and sealed them foor long lasting outdoor birdhouses. Some gourds become delightful English cottages with gardens to match. Other gourds have an addition of sculpting to them and they become toucans, giraffes or possibly a zebra. My goal is to add humor, playfulness and joy for those who welcome my art into their lives.
I have gourd birdhouse son Etsy and Three Rivers Artist Guild - Gallery and Gift shop in Oregon City. These pictures are representations of what might be available but certainly what I can make as a custom order. Please contact me, visit the Oregon City Gallery or Etsy or contact me directly.
