Willamette Falls Studios Grand Open House

Please join us for Willamette Falls Studios Grand Open House party September 23! We’re celebrating our fabulous new music studio and readiness of all things media at WFS. Help us make this a real community event by showing off the amazing range of talented community craftsmen and artists.

WFS believes art is the heart of every thriving community. We’re looking for local artisans of all kinds interested in participating during the 3-hour afternoon event. We want to fill our large parking lot with a multitudinous of venders of arts and crafts, food, with talent and energy like yours.

There will be fabulous music (Ellen Whyte and Sonnie Hess aka Jane Doe and Rae Gordon), snacks, and even homemade chocolate chip cookies straight from the studio kitchen. Not only will you be able to show off your wares at no cost to you, you will have the opportunity to tour the Studio and see what might be of use to you.

Art expression comes in many forms of media, and WFS supports all types, audio and visual. Besides the newly completed music studio, and fully equipped kitchen, we have a large production studio complete with greenscreen, remote-control cameras, podcast booth and even a meeting room with the best view in Oregon City!

If you aren’t familiar with WFS, please come by to see us in our 100-year-old OCHS ‘Art Barn’. We can supply the equipment and space, teach you how to use it, and then cablecast and stream your creations. You take whatever you’ve made and use it as your own. Whether you’re making a birthday collage or a presentation of your work, you have access to this amazing community resource. TikTok anyone? No time to learn how? We can do it all for you.

Thanks to the generous contribution from the Oregon City Arts Commission, who made this Grand Open House possible, we would like to invite you/your organization to join us with your art for what we hope will become an annual event.

There’s no charge to you or revenue sharing, so nothing’s standing in your way! So mark your calendars and reply to me, nancy.shearer@willamettefallsstudio.com to save your space. Feel free to call the Studio with any questions at 503-650-0275
