New Calls for Artists

A Generous Kingdom VIII: Art that explores symbolism, story, and beyond (deadline is October 28, 2023)

The competition is open to all 2D and 3D artists, national and international, working in all forms of painting, drawing, photography, graphics, digital, and sculpture are eligible. Entrants must be 18 years of age or older to apply. This is a virtual exhibition and all works will be displayed on the gallery website and promoted through social media channels. Pen & Ink Challenge (deadline is October 31, 2023)

Judges from ArtProf.org will be looking for strong cohesion in both technical execution and presence of a core concept, and how they work together to form a visually commanding presence. Presenter: Attorney Kohel Haver of Oregon Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts. Haver’s practice is focused on creative people and the arts, including a specialty in copyright and related intellectual property, technology, and business law. The workshop will include a presentation and Q&A with the presenter. Home Is Where the HeART Is (deadline is November 19, 2023)

Oregon and southwest Washington artists are invited to apply to the 7th annual juried show presented by Lunaria Gallery in Silverton, Oregon. ‘Home is Where the Heart Is’ is open to all media.
