A Generous Kingdom VIII: Art that explores symbolism, story, and beyond (deadline is October 28, 2023)
The competition is open to all 2D and 3D artists, national and international, working in all forms of painting, drawing, photography, graphics, digital, and sculpture are eligible. Entrants must be 18 years of age or older to apply. This is a virtual exhibition and all works will be displayed on the gallery website and promoted through social media channels. Pen & Ink Challenge (deadline is October 31, 2023)
Judges from ArtProf.org will be looking for strong cohesion in both technical execution and presence of a core concept, and how they work together to form a visually commanding presence. Oregon City Arts Commission – RFP Public Art- Sculpture (deadline is March 4, 2024)
The Oregon City Arts Commission seeks an artist, or artist team, to create a replacement sculpture for Oregon City’s public art collection. The artwork will be located on the northwest corner of 7th and Center Streets in Oregon City. The new artwork will replace a piece called “Ancient Voices” by the artist Carole Turner, that was permanently damaged due to a car accident. Please note that the Arts Commission is not looking to emulate the former piece. Rather, artists should share their vision for new artwork that will become a mid-town Oregon City landmark.
