The 28th annual Art In The Pearl Fine Arts & Crafts Festival takes place Labor Day weekend Saturday, August 31 through Monday, September 2. The show is located in the North Park Blocks of the Pearl District in Portland, Oregon. 130 exceptional visual artists have been selected to exhibit by an independent jury panel comprised of both working artists and art professionals. Fiber in 3D (deadline is November 30, 2023)

This juried exhibition will appear in the spring 2024 issue of Fiber Art Now to be released in early April 2024. Selected artwork will be eligible for the onsite exhibition at the Houston Center for Contemporary Craft, Houston, Texas, January 27 through May 4, 2024. Artists are invited to enter TWO innovative three-dimensional artworks of original design that stretch the boundaries of fiber and textile techniques. The artwork must include a fiber component or textile technique.

Christmas Bazaar (deadline is December 7, 2023)

Come be part of our Christmas Bazaar at the Oregon City Church of the Nazarene on December 9, 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 pm. The deadline is December 7. The set up is 6-8 p.m. and then again Saturday morning from 8-9:30 a.m.

All spaces are 9 feet wide by 7 feet deep. Double spaces are still available. A basic space in which the artist brings their own tables/risers and needs no power is $35. If the artist would like to use our table(s), add $10. Add an additional $10 if the artist needs power.

The competition is open to all 2D and 3D artists, national and international, working in all forms of painting, drawing, photography, graphics, digital, and sculpture are eligible.
