Oregon City Public Restroom Art/Graphic Design (deadline is August 6, 2023)

The City of Oregon City Public Works Department is seeking design proposals from artists or artist teams for art to be displayed on a Public Restroom that will be installed in Downtown Oregon City. The artist or artist team chosen will create final designs to be scanned, printed and installed on the exterior of the Restroom as described below. Final designs need to be submitted in digital format with no less than 300 dpi pixel saturation. Learn more and apply

Call for Art: Next Citizens Bank Rotation Starts on April 28th, 2023

The next rotation for the Citizens Bank will begin April 28th. The rotation is for 3 months total, Art In/Out will be scheduled on April 28th, a Friday. There is no cost for this exhibition, and no commission is charged. Artwork must stay on display for the entire 3 months. Email Rhoda Bohr at citizensbank@threeriversartistguild.com to arrange a time.  Thank you to all the artists that have participated so far. We appreciate your commitment to art in our community!!

The bank has space for approximately 15 pieces of art.  There is space for 6 large pieces – approximately 18”x24” or so, and for 9 smaller pieces closer to 8”x10” or even slightly larger.  Please mark each submission as L for large or S for small.  You can submit both large and small pieces.

City of Gladstone Pilot Mural Project (deadline is April 3rd, 2023)

A pilot mural project will work with the community to design and implement two high-quality outdoor painted murals that reflect the tourism themes and content highlighted by the community. Two murals will focus on the theme of ‘Postcards of Gladstone’ with the subtext of “glad to be here!” Accompanying will be reproductions of the actual mural as printed postcards for distribution by various partners with licensing permission approved by selected artist. Call for Artists: Oregon City Festival of the Arts 2023

For the seventh year, the Three Rivers Artist Guild is presenting an arts, culture and heritage event known as the Oregon City Festival of the Arts (OCFOTA). It will take place on August 12 and 13, 2023.

The event is now considered the premier art event in Oregon City. The Festival will be held at the End of the Oregon Trail Interpretive & Visitor Information Center located at 1726 Washington Street, Oregon City, OR 97045.

Hours of Operation are 10-5 both days.

Nebbiolo Wine Bar looking for Art for Temporary Display

Nebbiolo Wine Bar and Restaurant is looking for art to fill its walls on a temporary rotation basis. This exhibit opportunity is being organized by the TRAG partners in art program. Nebbiolo has room for 2-5 large (30 x 40 or larger) pieces, about 4 medium sized (about 18 x 24), and 8-12 smaller pieces. All chosen artworks would be on display for 4 months. The artist(s) can display them as “for sale” with prices, but must handle any sales themselves. Interested artists should submit 3-5 images of available artworks along with a short introduction and artwork description via email to Yvette Kirwin at yvette@nebbiolowinebar.com by March 1. Artwork installation will be on March 7 from 10-12 (Yvette is willing to move the date/time slightly if needed). Yvette would love to work with the artist(s) to promote their work with a reception/wine tasting.
